It is the main force in the research and production of marine & offshore equipment and a backbone research and development institution leading the innovation and development of ship electromechanical equipment. It has business sectors such as power and electricity, aviation support, ship equipment, thermal energy and environmental protection, vibration reduction and degaussing, non-ship equipment, testing, and standard research, and core professional laboratories with complete scientific research, testing, production, service and support capabilities.
